YOUR ROLE

  • Senior Category Manager for raw materials with a focus area on fats, oils and surfactants.

  • Ensures regular Business Unit awareness of market trends on material availability, cost development, impact on competitive landscape for regional spend

  • Drives savings initiatives on behalf of Business Unit, ensures Purchasing Function delivery regionally and for all categories

  • Understands the strategic roadmaps of the Business Unit and connects them with the best sourcing solutions

  • Boosts team performance to develop disruptive innovations and to bring faster innovation to market encouraging early supplier involvement

  • Ensures best integration of acquired businesses in the region

  • Aligns Purchasing Function resources to deliver Business Unit needs, ensures Purchasing

  • Function has regional sustainable supply base in place to meet the agreed Business Unit requirements

  • Supports the Global KAM to proactively and permanently challenge the status-quo

  • Identifies, conceptualizes and sells game changers in the total value chain vs. internal stakeholders and suppliers


YOUR SKILLS

  • MBA degree with a minimum of three years of related Purchasing experience or four-year college degree with six years of related experience in purchasing of raw materials and/or chemicals.

  • Responsible for stakeholder management, management of category spend, and KPIs.

  • Key contributor to Purchasing strategy and accountable for tactical implementation.

  • Contributes to the development of annual team objectives.

  • Excellent Stakeholders management skills.

  • Strong ability to drives a cross-functional team.

  • Demonstrates potential to move to a Regional KAM Role and/or Regional Sourcing Team Lead role.

  • Experience in cross category, cross function, and/or cross material group management.

  • Increased spend, complexity of portfolio, and/or geographical scope.

The salary for this role is $105,000.00 - 135,000.00. This
is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for
this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range
and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in
Connecticut. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
