Position OverviewThe Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Kansas invites qualified scholars and professionals to submit applications to a department lecturer pool for a 0.25FTE lecturer in Chinese for the fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters, teaching one beginning-level Chinese language course each semester to military personnel at the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Renewal is possible depending on performance and funding.

Job Description.25 FTE Teaching one beginning-level Chinese language course each semester to military personnel at the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Required Qualifications1) Native or near-native fluency in Chinese;
2) MA in linguistics, TCFL, EALC, or another relevant field;
3) Chinese language teaching experience.
