Job Description:
Works with business partners to analyze business needs and translates them visually through the Web design of the TruChoice Internet, Intranet, and Extranet.
Responsible for translating traditional print marketing efforts to the company's digital arena; and is responsible for Email and other digital marketing design and development.
Details:
Translate ideas into overall web page designs incorporating images, graphics, and other digital media
Create, edit or modify graphic design elements for web sites
Design and implement multimedia elements utilized in digital marketing efforts
Utilize tools to create user interfaces to simply and elegantly facilitate user interactions with web site and other digital media
Create and maintain web pages, update files and ensure accurate file and site promotion processes
Design and develop email marketing messages and other digital interactions based on best practices
Tools and skills required:
Excellent visual design sense
Experience in responding well to clients’ design requests
Excellent ability to communicate with clients, partners, and teammates
Proven ability to manage work in order to meet deadlines
Ability to define, develop, and create marketing campaigns
Knowledge of modern HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, Javascript (ES6).
Experience building modern performant and accessible websites using HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, Javascript (ES6).
Experience with modern web bundlers and build systems such as Webpack and Gulp.
Experience the Nunjucks templating language or similar.
Experience using Git as the version control system.
Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
Experience with design software (e.g., Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
Understanding of UX/UI (user experience/user interface) design
Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization)
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of .NET, Blazor, and Visual Studio
Experience required:
2-3 years in web design & development; with portfolio of work samples.
Four-year degree required in graphic design, related field or equivalent work experience
Preferred experience:
4-5 years of experience preferred
