• As a senior software engineer your role will be to implement the technology strategy for Store delivery teams. You will design and code solutions to meet program needs.




• Those solutions should adhere to best practices around reusability, security, and decoupled component design.




•  You will, translate product concepts into project commitments that deliver incremental value to our customers frequently and with high quality.




• You will partner with delivery teams outside the direct-to-consumer org to uphold and negotiate common standards.




•  In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will partner with business delivery leadership to conceptualize solutions that meet their complex needs.




• Your outcomes will be a primary contributor to achieving Store's long-term strategic goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve software




• Translate product concepts into project commitments that deliver incremental value to our customers frequently and with high quality




• Willingness and ability to quickly learn new platforms, languages, and tools

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of coding experience with one or more of the follow languages JavaScript, Java, .NET Core, or Python




• Demonstrated experience using engineering fundamentals: unit testing, code reviews, telemetry, agile and DevOps




• 1 year experience working with CI/CD tools




• Demonstrated experience using REST API development, IaC, public / private cloud, application observability and/or messaging / stream architecture




• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in public cloud environments GCP, Azure, AWS, serverless architecture or containerization




• 1 year experience with React




• Understanding of distributed architecture design principles




• Experience implementing large-scale/high performance componentized web applications across multiple technology domains




• Experience in the health care industry

Projects the candidate will be working on:

• Store

Ideal Background:

• Healthcare and/or ecom would be great but not required, skills are more important

Team and Team size:

• 13 on the team but growing to 90. There ae 6 developers, the rest are TPMs and management

Top Responsibilities:

• Basically, we deliver in agile so the dev will be working on user stories and be expected to come to a daily meeting to give status on what was done the day prior, what is being worked on today and are there any blockers to the work.
