Projects the candidate will be working on:

• Healthcare Platform is being built as the centralized repository for benefit, member and claim information from across the platforms supporting the Medicare and Medicaid businesses.




• This role will work across the spectrum of applications and technology disciplines to design and develop the fields necessary for the Healthcare Platform to be preferred source for information.

Ideal Background:

• Strong analysis skills, solid Excel skills.

Top Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building production, modern software in a scaled distributed environment




• 5+ years in Java (preferably java 8+) or GoLang




• Demonstrated knowledge of SQL

Team and Team size:

• 5 to 8 cross functional team members




• 1 Analyst/Agile Practitioner to 4 engineers

Top Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mappers with an in house dataplatform mapping legacy source data to strategiccanonical formats and fragments




• Develop yaml configurations driving joiner andtransformer logic




• Design and develop microservice APIs focused onexposure of externalized data




• Configure Kafka topics and develop Kafka producerand consumer services




• Develop monitoring and metric tools related to themapping and access of the externalized data




• Contribute to the build/deploy/release process and findways to automate and improve our pipeline at everystep




• Bring innovative ideas to help continuously improve theM&R portfolio including the design, build, deploy, testand runtime within cloud ecosystems




• Participate in debugging and performance tuning in ahigh performance cloud platform




• A great attitude and the passion and persistence tosolve complex problems

Skills/attributes Required

• 5+ years of experience building production, modern software in a scaled distributed environment




• 5+ years in Java (preferably java 8+) or GoLang




• 3+ years transforming large data sets




• Demonstrated knowledge of SQL

Skills/attributes Preferred

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience




• 2+ years with JSON and/or Avro message formats




• 2+ years with Kafka or similar pub/sub technology




• 3+ years with Spring framework / Spring boot
  
  
   




• Expertise in container virtualization utilizing Docker and CICD using Jenkins




• Expertise with git version manager Experience working within the commercial Azure platform




• Experience developing solutions with GoLang Knowledge of a variety of modern programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Node)
  
  
   




• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment Strategies




• Data Modeling and data management experience




• Unit and Integration testing experience




• Exposure to a variety of modern database technologies (SQL, mySQL/relational as well as NoSQL)
