An award winning health system in the Miami market is looking for a skilled Core Lab Supervisor to join their team.

This 350+ bed teaching hospital is rated one of the highest in the area and provides a wide range of services including emergency services, laboratory services, behavioral health services, cardiology services, orthopedic services, stroke treatment, maternity services, and much more. This hospital provides exceptional medical care to the residents of Broward and Dade counties. 

The Lab Supervisor will be in charge of supervising staff in the laboratory while performing their own lab duties in assigned section. The Lab Supervisor will be in charge of training new hires to meet all laboratory standards.They will be in charge of maintaining the work environment in compliance with standards and deadlines. The Supervisor will implement new systems and equipment to improve work done and service provided by lab staff. The supervisor mush be able to meet requirements as set forth by accrediting agencies. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• USA or equivalent BS degree preferred. MT(ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.


• Five years of technical experience and two years of supervisory experience preferred.


• Basic computer skills required.
