What You Will Be Doing Building out our web applications and expanding the company product suite (and its key features)! Working within a cross functional squad of value aligned engineers, this person will help with both the creation of new features and assist in the scaling of our core backend code base. As such, this senior level role within the engineering team requires a strong engineer that not only has skills in backend server development and architectures, but they also possess practical experience in aspects of scaling including caching, microservices, and modularization. The ideal individual is forward thinking technically speaking with a proven history of taking projects from concept to completion.
What You Need for this Position Looking for 3+ years of Scala Application development

- Experience working within Engineering teams in an Agile software development environment
- Experience with test automation
- Experience with common CI/CD tools and processes for managing backend applications
- Ability to work independently and remotely

BONUS - Experience working libraries such as Akka HTTP, Slick, Flyway, Macwire, SBT, Specs2 and Mockito
