NOTE: Prior experience managing the construction of a facility worth $50-60 million or more is required for consideration in this role. There is 1 PM position available at all of the locations specified in the ad (3 in total).
What You Will Be Doing The chosen Sr. Project Manager will be representing an ENR top rated CM Firm on projects in the Justice Sector. The Sr. PM manages preconstruction services including (but not limited to): Constructability plan review, plan check coordination with project architect, Division 00 and 01 spec preparation, cost estimates, and compliance review of contracts and drawings. The Sr. PM will closely monitor closeout to obtain guarantees, warranties, and related provisions for turnover to the owner. This position provides assistance with and adherence to all SB 844/863 requirements including all required documentation and communications with State staff during construction and project close-out.
What You Need for this Position 7+ years of relevant Project Manager experience and:

- Bachelors Degree (Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or similar)
- Prior experience with Change Order analyses and contract delay negotiations
- Prior experience managing justice projects $50M+ (correctional facilities, courthouses, medical facilities)
- Prior experience with tilt-up PREFERRED
- Experience managing Design-Bid-Build projects in the San Francisco Bay Area is a PLUS
- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple project deadlines simultaneously
- Knowledge and application of construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling
- Knowledge and application of engineering/construction principles, techniques, materials, and best practices
- Knowledge of construction building codes and building methods
- Ability to interpret plans/specs
- Prior experience managing subcontractors and vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project and Excel
- Working knowledge of scheduling, estimating, and construction accounting software
- OSHA 30
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Certified Construction Manager PREFERRED
