Summary: Zapata Technology is seeking a person holding an active Secret clearance to provide Train-the-Trainer assistance to deployed US Marine Field System Administrators for system maintenance of the Common Aviation Command Control System (CAC2S, Shellback version), Theater Battle Management Core System (TBMCS). Trainer will assist personnel and train users on setting up, configurating, operating, troubleshooting and maintenance of TDL networks supporting the Common Aviation Command Control System (CAC2S Shellback), Operations Facility (OPFAC) and the Communication Subsystem (CS). These support efforts are provided to military units while deployed, in garrison, in preparation of, and while participating in major exercises and contingency operations.
Job Qualifications: Required Qualifications and Skills include:
Able to provide highly specialized system technical interoperability and integration support, including over-the shoulder training and troubleshooting of multiple TDL air communication systems to Marines deployed and in garrison.
Experience with operation, systems readiness, and troubleshooting technical support of CAC2S, Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI), Tactical Data Links JREAP A/B/C, Link 16, VMF, Tactical Radios, and Sensors.
General knowledge of a USMC or Air Combat Command Center and the tactical utilization of C4I TDL systems (Link 16, JREAP, etc.).
Working knowledge of relevant systems troubleshooting and timely actions required to keep the TBMCS CAC2S technical systems functional in an operational environment.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills include:
This position would be a natural fit for USMC MOS 5974, Tactical Data Systems Administrator. Will consider all technical expertise with knowledge of CAC2S systems.
Ability to articulate technical communications systems status information.
Flexible in various system deployment environments (garrison, deployed, exercise)
IAT Level II certification. CompTIA Security + or higher

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-time
Travel: Up to 50% travel required to both CONUS and OCONUS locations. Will require an active passport.
Clearance Type: Requires an Active Secret clearance. Employment is contingent on having or obtaining the required active security clearance or successfully passing the required background check, as well as other factors, including, but not limited to, drug screens.
