Responsible for the delivery of end to end system development and maintenance on complex technology systems within assigned client group, business unit or corporate department.

Development on medium to large complex customer technology platforms or architectures.
Maintains active relationships with internal and/or external stakeholder to develop business requirements.
Analyzes and classifies complex change request and identifies and documents possible system code enhancements.
Demonstrates knowledge of industry trends, our products and infrastructure.
Collaborates with engineers and graphic designers, analyzes and classifies complex change request and reviews and evaluates possible enhancements.
Works with development team to develop and define application scope and objectives and prepare functional and/or technical specifications.
Analyzes and evaluates detailed business and technical requirements.
Mentors others on coding standards and performs code reviews.
Reviews test cases and advises QA on adjacent code/regression impact.
Develops and performs system testing and fixes defects identified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validate results.
Aids in integrating activities with other IT departments for successful implementation and support of project efforts.
Provides on call support and monitors the system and identifies system deficiencies.
Must have experience in developing API Proxies using Google Apigee Edge Platform
Must be able to design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot APIs and policies using Apigee
Writing Open API spec and knowledge of SmartDocs/Swagger-UI and on boarding APIs to developer portal.
Support the APIs through the entire lifecycle.
Must have experience with middleware, web services, and related standards such as REST, SOAP, Messaging, Broker, JMS, Kafka
Good understanding of design and development of security architecture/policies with SSL, TLS, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML, Encryption, Public Private Keys, Certificate Configurations, Transport Layer Security, OWASP
Knowledge about converting web services from SOAP to REST or vice-versa using Apigee Edge
Experience in API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications, etc. using APIGEE Platform.
Skills and experience in maintaining & handling Apigee software components like Edge Router, Message Processor, and developer portal.
Knowledge about debugging EDGE components.
Understanding of APIGEE OPDK on premise installation and managing the APIGEE OPDK cluster.
Knowledge on CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis, Gitlab CI/CD etc.
Knowledge on logging systems such as Splunk, Sumologic, ELK stack,Loggly, Dynatrace etc.
Hands-on development in Apigee Platform with deep implementation exposure to policies like Service Callouts, Extensions, Mediation, Security implementations using OAuth.
Nice to have experience in any of the cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Pivotal CloudFoundry etc.
Must be able to own and deliver the Apigee integrations as an individual contributor, if required.
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 3 years experience on one platform, multi database, multi language or multi business application; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Experience mentoring others, leading small projects and providing troubleshooting support is strongly preferred.
