Responsibilities:

The Nurse LPN/LVN is Responsible for:

  • The examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the physician
  • Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Reviews patient medical records, interviews patients and measures vital signs
  • Explains procedures, performs treatments, and administers prescribed medication
  • Prepares treatment room; assists physician with procedures; cleans and sterilizes equipment
  • Performs venipuncture, urine dipstick, blood glucose testing, PT/INR, HGB, wound culture, foley catheter care and insertion, enteral tube feeding and care
  • Facilitates patient transfers to alternate level of care
Qualifications - External:

Requirements:
  • An LPN or LVN; 2 years of experience as an LPN/LVN; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Current LPN/LVN license in the applicable state required
  • For CareMore business units, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position
