IngenioRx's Account Management organization is looking to hire a Director of Pharmacy Account Management . This position will lead a team of client-facing Account Service Managers and Senior Account Service Managers for IngenioRx's commercial integrated accounts that have Anthem medical and IngenioRx pharmacy services.

Responsible for providing best in class service and managing relationships with PBM clients, consultants, brokers and vendors. Developing relationships with cross functional partners and external vendors in order to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment, pay for performance culture.

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Executing IngenioRx strategies to maximize value from PBM contracts, creating, and implementing policy and procedures to ensure compliance with PBM contracts.
  • Manage a team to support operational processes, rebate analysis, network pricing compliance, and other financial aspects of the contract.
  • Leads a team of sales and account management professionals for assigned customer or business segments, products, services and/or geographies.
  • Leads internal meetings to drive resolution to open items
  • Oversees the development of client-focused process improvements, including standards and processes
  • Partners with Client Experience on complex projects that require development by ensuring client requirements are clearly defined, thoroughly captured and meet client commitments
  • Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult service-related issues associated with complex setup and client abrasion
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.
  • Recruits, develops, and retains a diverse workforce.
  • Sets, communicates, implements, and monitors performance metrics with assigned team; aligns assigned performance measures with company objectives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for direct reports and internal partners.
  • Assist in the development of training initiatives and strategy with the Sales Support team. Supports team in developing productive and collaborative internal partnerships to create a comprehensive growth and service strategy for assigned book of business.



Requirements:
  • Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years of Pharmacy/PBM experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Highly preferred experience:
  • Pharmacy License or equivalent service in pharmacy benefits field preferred.
  • Experience managing/leading a team of individual contributors and ensuring goals, service metrics and projects are completed timely and accurately.
  • Pricing and analytics expertise strongly preferred in the pharmacy benefit space.
  • Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

  • Experience in Client-Facing roles, solving complex customer problems, managing escalations and serve as a point of contact for team members.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and ability to influence change across the organization.
  • Ability and experience serving Executive level Anthem internal clients, as well as Executive level Health Plan Sponsor Employer Clients.
  • Experience and success working in a highly matrixed environment where lateral influence, building internal relationships, effective change management and critical skills are required
