021748 Customer Service Manager (Open)
Responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of a large team or multiple teams of contact center representatives. Plan, direct, supervise, and evaluates work flow. Recognize and recommend operational improvements. Responsible for the day-to-day application of policies and procedures. May monitor performance of staff members according to established monitoring standards.
Supervises a team of Customer Service Representatives and the daily operations of the area.
Communicates pricing, product information, shipping dates and other appropriate order information to customer to ensure customer satisfaction.
Collects information and creates reports as required.
Addresses escalated and more complex level issues with customers.
Communicates goals and objectives, applies company policy, staffs, trains, coaches, recommends salary increases, administers discipline, insures positive employee relations and reviews the performance of colleagues.
May oversee or interface with scheduling, shipping/receiving or other departments
May prepare quotation packets and price lists.
Hires and trains new Customer Service Coordinators.
Identifies opportunities to update or improve customer service operations and makes recommendations to the appropriate staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Typically possesses a Bachelor's degree and 5-6 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills
Good supervision, problem-solving and planning skills.
Advanced knowledge of product.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills-- verbal, written and presentation.
Must be able to work as part of a team and motivate others.
Fundamental understanding of computer operations and software.
