Job Description:



Responsible for the day-to-day operations and supervision of a large team or multiple teams of contact center representatives. Plan, direct, supervise, and evaluates work flow. Recognize and recommend operational improvements. Responsible for the day-to-day application of policies and procedures. May monitor performance of staff members according to established monitoring standards.



Key Responsibilities



  • Supervises a team of Customer Service Representatives and the daily operations of the area.

  • Communicates pricing, product information, shipping dates and other appropriate order information to customer to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Collects information and creates reports as required.

  • Addresses escalated and more complex level issues with customers.

  • Communicates goals and objectives, applies company policy, staffs, trains, coaches, recommends salary increases, administers discipline, insures positive employee relations and reviews the performance of colleagues.

  • May oversee or interface with scheduling, shipping/receiving or other departments

  • May prepare quotation packets and price lists.

  • Hires and trains new Customer Service Coordinators.

  • Identifies opportunities to update or improve customer service operations and makes recommendations to the appropriate staff.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.




Education and Experience



  • Typically possesses a Bachelor's degree and 5-6 years of experience.




Knowledge and Skills





  • Good supervision, problem-solving and planning skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of product.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills-- verbal, written and presentation.

  • Must be able to work as part of a team and motivate others.

  • Fundamental understanding of computer operations and software.

  • Solid product line knowledge.
