JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Due Diligence Coordinator

Department: Land Development

Reports to:

FLSA Status: Exempt

General Summary:

The position of Due Diligence Coordinator coordinates the due diligence aspects of commercial/retail projects and manages geotechnical, environmental, traffic, civil and survey consultants.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role has no supervisory responsibility.

  • Conduct municipal research, site assessment investigations, jurisdictional wetland approvals and site planning

  • Prepare due diligence reports

  • Track projects from inception to construction

  • Develop and maintain project schedules

  • Manage projects within budget and/or contract terms

Required Skills and Abilities:


  • Strong leadership skills ability to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and approval process

  • Thorough understanding of building systems, zoning and site requirements (Structural, MEP, Civil and Geo-Tech)

  • Highly organized, detail-driven and conscientious

  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel

  • Proficiency in MS Project is preferred

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelors Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Planning or related field

  • 5 years of related experience

  • Should be on registration track
