Job Title: Project Manager Department: Civil Engineering Reports to: Associate Director or Director FLSA Status: Exempt
General Summary:
The position of Project Manager is responsible for the management, planning, scheduling, and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel. In addition, monitors and tracks project progress, invoicing and budget, and assist with overall project performance and profitability. Must possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects.

Develops schedules, budgets, and proposals.
Responsible for marketing to prospective clients and building maintaining and managing client relationships.
Possesses effective management skills and is able to plan, direct and monitor all aspects of Land Development projects.
Has ability to concurrently manage production and coordination of several projects.
Possesses strong drive, motivation, and self-initiative.
Responsible for acting independently on civil engineering matters within area of expertise.
Communicates and coordinates project requirements with the project team and consultants.
Adheres to company policies and can articulate companys mission statement to team members and clients.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Communicates and coordinates project requirements with the project team and consultants
Perform technical analysis and documentation
Prepare and manage preliminary, final design and construction phase services for commercial or retail land development projects
Interface/coordinate engineering to develop and execute design concepts
Working knowledge and understanding of construction documents and permitting
Has excellent technical knowledge and management skills
Responsible for maintaining and managing client relationships
Plan, direct and monitor all aspects of projects
Involved with the production and coordination of several projects concurrently
Possess strong drive, motivation, and self-initiative
Manage budget and schedule
Ability to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
Minimum of 8 years of experience
Licensure in Engineering is preferred
