A well-organized Skilled Nursing Facility in Central Washington is looking for a Director of Clinical Nursing Services. The Nursing Home DON will work with the existing Nurse Manager until they comfortable to hit the ground running. This 110 bed skilled nursing facility has seen strong senior leadership tenure with the current Nursing Home Administrator being in the position for 20 years. In addition, the Director of Nursing Services had been with the Post Acute Care Facility since 2009. The SNF Director of Nursing will report to the Administrator and be privy to new CMS program initiatives such as value based purchasing programs like SNF-VBP, SNF-QRP, Quality Measures, Nursing Home Compare, Payroll Based Journal reporting, etc.

The skilled nursing facility serves:

• Residents with complex psychiatric issues such as Parkinson's, Huntington's, ALS, schizophrenia, bi-polar, vascular dementia, Alzheimer's and other chronic medical conditions.


• Residents with behavior issues such as loud vocalizations, poor impulse control, socially inappropriate behaviors, hoarding, food seeking and exit seeking.


• Residents with multiple failed placements.


• Medicare, Medicaid, private and insurance accepted.
