The UX Designer works with the product team for consumer-facing digital products to design intuitive, results driven user experiences that balance attractive design, usability, and business goals. The UX Designer will use User Design to serve up information in palatable ways and to motivate visitors to move through the shopping and enrollment steps. This role will be a key player in executing design-thinking processes: learning, defining problems from the user's standpoint, generating ideas for solutions, creating mock-ups and designs, testing via user testing methodologies, refining and delivering to developers.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Identify key struggles on our sites and recommend design and user experiences that meet consumer's needs and improve key metrics
Collaborate with a team of product owners, content experts, marketers, and developers to refine and prioritize solutions
Prototype designs for the solutions
Present designs to product team, receive feedback, modify designs
Conduct usability and user testing via supervising a marketing associate. Use research to refine ideas or pivot in another direction
Deliver designs in XD format to developers for execution
Understand funnel performance reporting to focus attention on consumer-oriented features and experiences that will drive business improvements
Constantly invent ways to improve site experience and results
Lead workshops with the product team to brainstorm solutions and designs
Be the design lead for digital products
Create user workflows or information architecture for complex new features
Oversee the execution and distribution of UX research and analyses
Monitor competitors and best-in-class companies in parallel industries for inspiration. Regularly present findings and make recommendations
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor's Degree in related field
5 years' experience designing responsive web interfaces
Experience in an acquisition-led direct-to-consumer digital company at which digital was used to generate sign-ups, enrollments, or purchases
Extensive work experience, certification, or degree showing aptitude for User Experience
Experience working in an Agile environment
Proficient in Adobe XD and Sketch
Foundational understanding of HTML & CSS and development in PHP and Java
Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and SEO requirements
Excellent collaboration skills
Highly articulate, can communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences to explain the rational for your ideas
Embrace a test-and-learn approach, comfortable using UX research and live testing to guide your UX/UI work
