Job Title: MECHANIC (AUTOMOTIVE)
Hiring Bonus of $5,000 FT/$2,500 PT

As a leader in the transportation industry, Coach USA in Norcross is looking for career-minded, professional & courteous Mechanics to join our team.

The position requires some supervision and/or direction but can generally perform tasks unsupervised.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Test for proper operations of multiple vehicle systems including all mechanical and electrical operations of the vehicle

· Perform component removal, installation, disassembly, and reconditioning, following Technical Manual procedures

· Properly and safely operate all functions of vehicles

· Able to pass internal driving training


Qualifications:

· Valid driver's license. CDL preferred, but not required (or ability to obtain one)

· High School Diploma or GED

· Ability to communicate fluently in English to accurately document work orders

· Perform all other service tasks as directed by the Director of Maintenance/Maintenance Manager

· Ability to work flexible shifts


Also, preferred but not required:

ASE, OEM Manufacturer, 609 or equivalent certifications a plus

Coach USA is looking for Maintenance Mechanics of all levels to join our family. Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager a Maintenance Mechanic performs highly skilled preventative maintenance, and diagnostic and repair work on motor coaches to minimize downtime and ensure a positive customer experience.

Must be 18 years old or older

Work experience on motorcoaches is preferred but not required
Working knowledge of the following systems is preferred: HVAC, engine (Cummins / Detroit), transmission, air brake systems, steering / suspension, and electrical
Technicians provide own basic tools
Must have dependable transportation.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion
