Summary: Under general direction of the Program Director, provides advocacy to clients seeking services through the SEK programs. Oversees operations of intake, assessment and eligibility for clients seeking services through the SEK programs. This position will be stationed at the front entry desk of the SEK facility and will be the first in-person contact for a majority of clients, community partners, law enforcement, etc.
Accountabilities:
Greets clients and community partners at the door. Performs intakes, provides tour of the facility, and schedules meetings with SEK staff.Receives incoming calls, responds to inquiries, and determines appropriate action.Receives prospective clients for services and determines eligibility for admission. Admits clients through established procedures. Refers ineligible clients to other agencies or programs as appropriate.Provide aid and support for clients.Assess prospective clients needs, strengths, barriers and personal resource network.Assists in managing daily operations of the SEK offices.Maintains facilities safety and responds to issues appropriately as they arise.Attends trainings as required and assigned by Catholic Charities supervisors.Enters program and service data in the appropriate compliant databases.Performs other related assigned duties.
