PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Hands on. Works as needed to perform and/or assist co-workers to accomplish goals and objectives.

Responsible for all aspects of operating all segments (equipment) of the production line or area assigned in a safe and efficient manner.

Ensure startups and shift ends occur on time.

Communicate all mechanical issues and safety concerns to the Production Supervisor, Floor Lead, and maintenance personnel.

Ensure all Redzone reports or documentation occur in a timely detailed manner.

Ensure all materials needed to produce products is communicated to prevent line stoppages.

Ensures that the line or area is properly staffed and if not, it is communicated to the Production Supervisor of Floor Lead.

Ensure that all personnel observe GMP and safety policies and directives.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have good attendance and punctual

Maintain a positive attitude toward change and ability to motivate subordinates.

Assist in the instruction and training of new employees as they pertain to various segments of operation of the line or area.

Have good oral and written communication skills

Ability to maintain composure under difficult circumstances and effectively interface with employees

Assist employees within the production line and /or areas to accomplish daily schedule.

Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable SOP's.

Ability to perform simple math calculations

Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy items maybe required

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred and/or experience associated with this position.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Working conditions consist of regular exposure to an indoor manufacturing environment consisting of temperatures of 34° to 36° and possibly humid to extremely hot temperatures, wet floors. Exposure to chemicals and their odors that are used in cleaning and in production processes. Exposure to heavy machinery, forklift traffic, and loud noises. Work on and around ladders, stairs, and platforms.
