An exciting new opportunity for a Radiation Oncology Manager has become available with a renowned Healthcare System in the Portland Metro Area. 

The Radiation Oncology Manager will be joining a state-of-the-art facility that is a member of one of the largest nonprofit healthcare systems on the West Coast. This 300+ bed hospital provides a wide array of acute care services including Cardiovascular, Emergency, Neuro, Oncology, Surgical, and Imaging services. The Manager Radiation Oncology will report directly to the Oncology and Cancer Care Department Director.  The Manager will be supported by a talented and capable team of 9 total Oncology Supervisors, Interventional radiologists and Staff Nurses. They will also be expected to collaborate alongside other departmental teams when necessary in order to provide the highest quality of patient care. 

The Radiation Oncology Manager will be responsible for the 24-hour oversight and leadership of the hospital’s 25+ bed Oncology unit. This unit provides a variety of services to its patients such as Chemotherapy, Radiation Therapy, Rehabilitation, Pain Management, and Support Group Services. This unit also shares a patient population and works in concert with their on-site outpatient oncology clinic. The Manager will facilitate the implementation and execution of practices and programs used to ensure the highest quality of service to the facility’s patients. This person will serve as a mentor and a resource, providing education and leadership to other staff members. The Manager will also oversee the annual budgeting for capital and operations.
