Summary of Job:

This position will build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand current and future talent needs, develop strategies to attract and grow talent, and deliver full cycle talent acquisition support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand their business operations, workforce characteristics, and current and future talent needs.

  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to finalize job descriptions, key qualifications, and desired attributes.

  • Enhance talent attraction by recommending new ideas and emphasizing our Employee Value Proposition to communicate the culture, benefits, and perks to interested applicants.

  • Develop and execute a sourcing and advertising strategy to build talent pipelines with qualified active and passive candidates.

  • Build and nurture external relationships to create pathways to open positions, such as TCATs, high schools, community resources, licensing boards, etc.

  • Manage employee referral program and develop creative ways to increase program engagement.

  • Use recruiting technology platforms and solutions to drive efficiencies and improve overall process.

  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process to identify and assess internal and external talent to achieve staffing objectives; includes talent identification, interviewing, recommending the best candidates to hiring leaders, offer letter generation, pre-employment screenings and supporting the candidate onboarding experience.

  • Provide training and coaching to hiring managers on recruiting best practices.

  • Leverage talent data and metrics to measure performance and success of talent strategies.

  • Continuously analyze all areas of responsibility for optimal efficiency and make recommendations that would improve recruiting process and candidate experience.

  • Assist with other projects as assigned.

  • Handle stress and job demands.

  • Work cooperatively with others.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Practical full life cycle recruitment experience, including end-to-end recruiting process, recruiting technology, job boards, advertising, etc.

  • Experience working in high-volume, fast paced hiring environment required.

  • Construction or trades recruitment experience preferred.

  • Ability to organize, set priorities, and meet multiple internal customer’s needs.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on working effectively with all levels of management.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience directly related to talent acquisition/recruiting.
