An established ambulatory surgery center located in northern Virginia is currently searching for an experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join their award-winning organization.

This ambulatory surgery center combines a team of experienced Orthopedic Physicians and Nurses that specialize in outpatient total joint replacement. This center is equipped with the latest surgical technologies, including the Mako robot. This location offers outpatient office-based surgery, physical and hand therapy, and physician practice.

Under supervision of the Nurse Manager and Lead Teach, the Sterile Processing Technician will ensure proper decontamination, sterilization, and processing of supplies and equipment that is used during orthopedic surgical procedures. The Sterile Processing Technician will oversee inventory levels of equipment and surgical instruments, assists and supports the operating room team, helps prioritize cases, and works directly with external vendors during drop off and pickups.

Requirements Include:

• Must possess CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)


• Prior working experience in central sterile processing services


• Ability to work with independently and lead a professional staff
