Position Summary:


  • Provide the global HR & Legal functions with timely financial and operational analysis to facilitate sound business decisions. Functional leaders require active participation in the ongoing management of the function. The incumbent is required to provide timely analysis (business and financial impacts) of discrete business projects or initiatives and serves as the leader of key FP&A activities (business and strategic planning, budgeting, etc.), business case development, and financial competency building.

  • This position is the lead Finance support for the Chief HR Officer, Chief Legal Officer, and their Leadership Teams. As an active contributor and often ad hoc leader, the incumbent performs financial, business, and strategic analyses and recommends courses of action that help enable the function and K-C meet its business and financial objectives. This role reports to the Business Analysis Team Leader II - Enterprise Functions.

  • This position is directly responsible for partnering with key project leaders to deliver improved profitability / ROI for the enterprise. The incumbent is required to provide analysis for discrete business projects or initiatives and serves as a financial subject matter expert. The Finance Business Partner performs financial, business and strategic analyses and recommends courses of action that help enable the function and K-C meet its business and financial objectives.

  • This role will work closely with the Global FP&A and Reporting team to define and execute reporting and management process improvements to drive efficiency / effectiveness gains.

  • Candidate can work in the following locations: Dallas, TX, Roswell, GA, or Neenah, WI

Key Responsibilities:


  • Actively participate in building and executing function capabilities, business strategies, objectives, and plans. Shape, coordinate, and drive delivery of global projects/initiatives as required by function and BU leaders.

  • Provide a source of business knowledge and problem-solving capabilities to assure sound analyses, recommendations, and actionable programs arise across a wide range of business or financial problems.

  • Coordinate, review, and develop business investment proposals that support timely and profitable business decisions, and complete audits of projects to determine profitability and achievement of original objectives.

  • Drive process improvements designed to increase efficiency within the function and K-C. Enhance the position by thoroughly reviewing all activities performed to improve the quality and productivity of services provided.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality performance through personal example by adopting a customer-based approach to business support and Kimberly-Clark’s Ways of Working (Focus on Consumers, Move Fast, Play to Win, and Grow Our People).

  • Establish, maintain and operate financial processes that provide timely, accurate and meaningful data and analysis to corporate, function, and business management to continually improve ROI. Provide ongoing global budget and spending control oversight to the functional teams.

  • Ensure application of efficient financial and operating controls supporting K-C’s requirement for an effective control environment.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA desirable).

  • 7 years prior financial analysis experience supporting functional and / or business unit operations.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to build a compelling business case.

  • Solid data and analytical skills with demonstrated application of business, finance, and economics principles.

  • Experience in a global / international environment desired.

  • Experience working and influencing in a matrix organization desired.

  • Demonstrable project / change management experience.
