SUMMARY:
The eCommerce Content Manager will support Kimberly-Clark Professional’s strategic business plan and “must-win” focus on eCommerce growth. The primary objectives for this role are to publish product content and optimize search rankings for Kimberly-Clark Professional products on distributor websites. To accomplish these objectives, you’ll help organize content in a logical, scalable structure that meets the needs of many different distributor websites.  You will also help create content that improves the speed and ease of making a buying decision online, is SEO friendly, and addresses the most common knowledge gaps or areas of frustration for customers.  Finally, you will demonstrate skill in project management and prioritization, justify decisions based on data, and measure results through analytical acumen.

This role requires a strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of best practices for the management of content data and search optimization.  Previous experience working with Content Management Systems and large data sets is required.  The person in this role will need to be comfortable working both as part of a team and autonomously, effective with juggling various projects simultaneously, and solution oriented in their working style.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Researching & Optimizing KCP Search Results with Distributor Websites:


  • Serve as primary contact for eCommerce with Top Tier Distributors

  • Work with Sales and Distributors to identify search methodology

  • Monitor and report on the competitor landscape of search rankings for Distributor sites

  • Monitor and report on the content and search scores for KCP on Distributor sites

  • Problem solve issues with low search rankings and submit solution proposals to Distributors

  • Manage search optimization projects to meet the target search optimization score

Formatting & Distribution of Content:


  • Validate distributor template and file format requirements

  • Re-format content as needed for uploads

  • Send content to distributors using appropriate templates

  • Manage new product set-up data requests as needed

Content Auditing and Other Tasks:


  • Verify sent content has been loaded correctly

  • Assist marketing and sales with Product Assortment and Content questions

  • Manage the legal claim (ETQ) submission process for eCommerce Content

  • Review distributor websites for best-in-class content gaps

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, statistics, or other related field

  • 3-5 years of eCommerce, Search Optimization and/or data management experience

  • Previous experience with Content Management Systems and large data sets is required

  • Very strong attention to detail

  • Advanced expertise with Excel functions

  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

  • Some knowledge of and/or basic understanding of web-based layout/design programs

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Creative thinking, problem solving, and the ability to innovate

  • Exhibits flexibility, open-mindedness, and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment

  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and accountability

  • Personal interest in eCommerce and data management

  • Positive team player and strong work ethic
