YOUR ROLE


  • Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment; ensure employees are properly trained and that there is a continuous effort to maintain compliance with SHE safety standards. Actively involved in improving safety culture.

  • Direct and coordinate plant operations to include production, quality, maintenance, shipping and customer service.

  • Ensures location implements and follows Company initiatives, policies and practices.

  • Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping; develop measures to improve performance, quality and increase efficiency.

  • Foster a well-trained, motivated and engaged staff. Ensure employees are properly trained in safety, quality and production process standards.

  • Establish and maintain positive customer relationships; monitor and ensure customer satisfaction; monitor and review corrective actions.

  • Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of sales, purchasing, and production.

  • Select and train plant supervisory and administrative staff; delegate tasks and accountabilities; monitor and evaluate performance.

  • Utilize financial data to improve profitability; prepare and manage operational budgets; develop effective strategies to meet financial goals.





YOUR SKILLS


  • Knowledge of business and management principles; financial and accounting principles and practices

  • Critical thinking and problem solving; decision making, planning and organizing

  • Communication skills; influencing and leading

  • Delegation

  • Education - Bachelor degree in Business, Management, Engineering or related field

  • Experience - Industry relevant production experience; knowledge of industry standards such as OSHA, EPA, ISO, QS; proficient computer skills to maintain production, financial, quality, safety and other data as required.
