Shift: 11:30 pm-8:00 am two days off- Overtime as needed.

Starting hourly rate: $23.03/hour
Union: District NO. 9, International Association of Machinist and Aerospace workers; Must join the union after 30 days
Must possess own hand tools; specialty tools will be provided.
Duties:
Good interpersonal skills are a must.
Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair/owner manuals, engineering specifications, and parts catalogs as necessary.
Maintenance on processing equipment, pipe fitting, welding, fabrication, carpentry; repairing electrical or mechanical equipment; installation of equipment.
Adjust and repair packaging equipment as needed.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on all equipment.
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
Interface with Operations to minimize downtime and maximize plant reliability.
Work with both Outside Contractors and Plant Operations to ensure all maintenance activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements:
Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety purposes.
High School diploma or GED preferred
2+ years of relevant maintenance experience required.
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge is a plus.
Experience with PLCs and ammonia refrigeration preferred.
Qualifications/Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, pull products weighing up to fifty pounds out of confined spaces and occasionally having to lift product overhead.
Ability to stand, kneel and climb ladders and other physical requirements as needed.
Must be able to pass a post-offer hair drug test, alcohol screening, and physical exam.
