The E.W. Scripps Company is looking for a SharePoint Developer/Administrator for its messaging and collaboration team. In this role, you will develop solutions enabling teams to easily share ideas, collaborate on files, and automate business processes using the Microsoft and Slack platforms. Additionally, you will provide administration and escalation support of Scripps collaboration services including Microsoft Office 365, Slack, and Zoom.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Develop innovative SharePoint sites for organization communication and team collaboration




• Automate existing business processes to increase speed and efficiency




• Create a collection of re-usable webparts, workflow actions, templates, and connectors that can be used as building blocks for new solutions




• Lead projects to migrate existing file shares to SharePoint and OneDrive




• Assist with end-user requests and problems, including permission changes, adding fields, tweaking workflows, and updating automation




• Administer collaboration services including Office 365, Slack, and Zoom




• Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes and procedures




• Develop training guides for end users and train level one support teams




• Provide after-hours escalation support as part of an on-call rotation 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or the equivalent work experience required 




• 3-5 years previous work experience in an Information Technology role




• 2+ years of experience managing Office 365 in an enterprise environment 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• Experience developing scripts in PowerShell or similar scripting language 




• Experience building solutions with SharePoint and SPFX Web Parts




• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory 




• Working knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, Webhooks, REST APIs, TypeScript




• Experience with Microsoft Graph or Slack API highly desired




• Customer-focused, solution-oriented approach to problem solving 




• Strong interpersonal, communication and multitasking skills are a must 




• A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through
