ERM is actively seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our North American Finance Team. As part of the Finance team, the successful candidate will provide functional accounting and reporting support to the General Ledger Controller and Finance Directors. This is an exciting opportunity for junior finance professional to be able to join a well-positioned global environmental leader in an exciting and growing industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monthly journal entry preparation and general ledger review


• Calculate and prepare monthly accruals


• Prepare monthly reporting and work paper support.


• Bank reconciliations


• Assist with financial analysis as needed


• Assist with company filings as needed


• Work with general ledger team to develop and implement tools to improve efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; or 8+ years equivalent experience.


• Strong Microsoft Excel skills


• Detail oriented and very analytical


• Strong organization skills.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Goal driven and resourceful; able to meet tight deadlines and produce high quality work.


• Team orientated.
