This Could Be You!

As a member of an Agile development team, Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for scripting development, scripting execution, and scripting troubleshooting, using standard development frameworks.

The Software Quality Engineer will work under the supervision of a Team Lead, allowing them to gain hands on knowledge of best practices in software testing while supporting client needs.

What You'll Do!

• Conduct impact analysis of new functionality and develop estimates for testing efforts.

• Assist in creation and management of testing project plans.

• Execute various systems, integration, regression, and ad-hoc tests according to approved test plans and testing schedule.

• Participate in test automation efforts including design, development, maintenance, and execution.

• Participate in developing and maintaining Web-Application, API (Web-services/DB), legacy, and standalone desktop-based application automation.

• Participate in building robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression and performance testing.

• Participate in troubleshooting, debugging and issue triaging.

• Reports on test preparation and execution status.

Does This Sound Like You?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience and certified technical training is required.

• Ability to work in a Agile Framework environment.

• Exposure to SDLC Methodologies - Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development.

• An understanding of web technologies - HTML/CSS/Java/ASP.Net/PHP/Ruby/C#.

• An understanding of Object-Oriented programing.

• An understanding of Industry test automation tools i.e., Selenium, Robot Framework

• An understanding of source control tools i.e., Git.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Physical Demands

· Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.

· Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

· Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
