Job Description:

Must be a current contractor with Cigna, Express Scripts, or Evernorth. Evernorth is a new business within the Cigna Corporation.

Responsible for supporting the Analytic Data Business Support team. Responsible for researching and triaging issues and requests for CCW (Cigna Corporate Warehouse), ENT360 (Enterprise 360), Analytics Platform and External Data presented to the team. Analyzes and anticipates needs and trends accurately; has broad knowledge and deep perspective that bridge the needs of the customers, projects, and organizations that Global Data & Analytics (GD&A) supports in order to appropriately prioritize and triage requests. The position would be a part of the GD&A team to represent enterprise business production needs to the broader organization by establishing new processes, collecting, and reviewing inbound requests into GD&A.


  • Work as a team member to review issues impacting the supported data platforms and warehouses

  • Review service and project requests to appropriately identify the business impact and priority.

  • Route work requests to appropriate fulfillment channels

  • Operate as an individual contributor responsible for servicing multiple applications owned and maintained by GD&A Enterprise Reporting

  • Act as a liaison for IT Production Support and Delivery for activities such as root cause analysis, issue resolution and prioritization of system enhancements

  • Communicate release and issue information to applicable users

This position is with Evernorth, a new business within the Cigna Corporation.

  • Communicate findings/gaps/solutions via written summary / presentation, as well as verbally

  • Facilitate conversation to validate working hypotheses / recommended solutions

  • Manage the synthesis of complicated concepts into easy to understand, meaningful information


Ideal Candidates Will Offer:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher and 5-7 years' experience in related healthcare analytics; or any combination of education and experience

  • Knowledge of CCW (Cigna Corporate Warehouse)

  • Knowledge of Enterprise 360

  • Knowledge of AWS Redshift, S3 services and Domino Data Lab

  • Knowledge of and experience using BI tools (Teradata Studio, Toad, Quick Site, Analytic Platform, Tableau)

  • Demonstrated database querying skills, including SAS / SQL / Teradata / Oracle / Python

  • Demonstrated ability to work with, manipulate, and optimize large data sets

  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology, concepts, and value chain

  • Knowledge of current data management and BI practices

  • Experience in enterprise data management, data warehousing, data marts, data modeling, business intelligence and analytics reporting is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Master Data Management and Data Quality is a plus.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multiple-faceted team

  • Proven track record of working closely with end users, business partners, and IT
