Express Scripts is hiring Agile coaches to take part in our organization-wide Agile transformation. We are looking for those passionate Agile coaches who are fluent with multiple approaches and methodologies, love to work at the team and organization levels, and want the challenge of moving a Fortune 25 company to Agile/DevOps culture. Bonus points for coaches who are also deeply technical!

Coaches will work with several co-located teams, helping them to fully understand how to apply their new Agile knowledge to development and delivering software in a very complex health-care related infrastructure. Teams are located in several sites across the country, so some level of travel may be expected.

Skills:

• Deep knowledge of Agile values and principles
  
  


• Ability to apply agile knowledge above the level of practices
  
  


• Detailed knowledge of Scrum and XP methodologies
  
  


• Detailed knowledge of Lean values and principles
  
  


• Ability to apply Kanban concepts to Agile projects
  
  


• Detailed knowledge of Agile scaling principles and practices
  
  


• Ability to work at team and organizational level
  
  


• Exceptional verbal communication skills
  
  


• In-depth knowledge of product ownership role and responsibilities
  
  


• Fluent in retrospective facilitation techniques
  
  


• Ability to teach agile courses to subset of Agile roles
  
  


• In-depth technical knowledge spanning all Agile roles (optional)
  
  


• Knowledge of DevOps values, principles, and practices (optional)
  
  

Experience:

• 2 years working in one or more roles (not including coaching) on an Agile team
  
  


• 5 years coaching agile teams across several methodologies
  
  


• 2 year coaching Lean/Kanban
  
  


• 2 year coaching at scale/organizational level
  
  


• Have taught Agile classes
  
  


• Have authored several Agile classes (optional)
  
  


• 3 years developing/testing on an agile team (optional)
  
  


• 1 year integrating development and operations in DevOps cultures (optional)
  
  

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $97,600 - $162,600, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
