Job Description:

The  Equipment Operator is responsible for supporting the Inbound Quality Department.  This includes pulling and putting away merchandising and helping with opening, assembling, and wrapping of merchandise. 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Pull and Put away product to support Inbound QC – Operate power mobile material handling equipment.




    • Use RF gun to select orders and putaway product based on system directed order types

    • Retrieve all items for delivery/ picking and staging inventory accurately in assigned areas.


  • Inventory- Maintain inventory accuracy levels by moving all product via RF transactions

  • Package – Responsible for the integrity of the merchandise in movement from rack to area damage free.

  • Safety- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner based on company safety standards


    • Load and unload equipment safely.




  • Unwrap product to allow QC to inspect

  • Assemble product as needed

  • Wrap merchandise in to ensure product is properly protected for storage.

  • Generate paperwork used for movement of merchandise within warehouse. 


 


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma.

  • 1- 2 years of experience operating an order picker, reach truck, sit down tow motor, or rider pallet jack

  • Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order picking, packing, and shipping processes and procedures.

  • Knowledge of Inventory Management preferred

  • Computer proficiency: Working knowledge of computer programs

  • Builds respectful and effective working relationships; collaborates with others to achieve common goals.

  • Conveys information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing; adjusts communication to meet the needs of the audience.

  • Displays a high degree of integrity, honesty and takes responsibility for one’s own actions;  shows consistency between words and actions.

  • Must have a high level of ethics, integrity, judgment, and confidentiality.
