A Role You Will Love The Senior Loss Mitigation Quality Analyst is responsible for creating adequate control processes and ensuring timely completion of department and investor audits. Ensures timely completion of monthly and annual control testing, identification of process deficiencies and periodically report testing results to management. Also reviews, updates, and creates departmental policies and procedures and provide annual certification. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
Manage and ensure timely completion of departmental audits and preparing audit responses
Liaison between Compliance, Risk, Legal and Operational areas to provide support for operational risk identification/management and control design
Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Serves as Subject Matter Expert for all areas of Loss Mitigation
Ensure departmental training is completed as required
Track, monitor, report statuses and validate effective implementation of process changes. Monitor and track all process deficiencies, findings and losses associated with the department.
Responsible for tracking remediation activities and performing testing to validate successful implementation and uploading results into the departments tracking system.
Provide technical writing support and management of Servicing Policies and Procedures.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 8 years of experience in mortgage industry, preferably Mortgage Origination and or Mortgage Servicing.
Knowledge of industry standard business practices, procedures and compliance requirements relating to mortgage servicing.
Knowledge of Government mortgages including GSE, HUD, etc.
Project management, audit, or compliance.
This role may require supervising other supervisors as well as individual contributors.
Strong organizational and critical thinking skills while being self-motivated and understanding sense of urgency.
Strong ability to communicate with outside vendors and internal employees of all levels for implementation of new and existing projects.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail.
Proficient knowledge of personal computers using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio.
Ability to learn and operate all in-house computer systems and a variety of vendor software.
Strong ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, peers, and all levels of management through written and verbal communication.
Strong ability to influence people into cooperation and participation.
Working knowledge of SQL.
