The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Maintenance Electrical Reliability Engineer/Technologist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Identify and manage equipment availability and reliability risks that could adversely affect plant operations. 


• Drive Equipment reliability and maintainability through renewal planning, Electrical and mechanical upgrades, repeating issues elimination, predictive maintenance, MCE and design, build and acceptance testing for installations. 


• Provides technical/engineering support and services through project organization and execution.


• Provide technical support to maintenance craft and production


• Willingness to be on-call (interest question)

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Associate Degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Five (5) years of maintenance experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering


• Three (3) years of Maintenance experience in a private, public, government or military environment


• Skills include… Troubleshooting, Attention to detail, excellent communication skills from customers, craft, engineers and Leadership

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
