SIS is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Broussard, LA.
Summary:
Performs preventive maintenance and repairs of all facility, operational, and portable equipment, as defined by Superior Inspection Services. Working hours will vary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains a safe & productive workplace
Troubleshoots and/or repairs facility, operational and portable equipment as defined by the Company
Completes necessary documentation associated with the equipment maintenance program processes
Proposes recommendations to improve the equipment maintenance program processes
All other related duties as directed by management
Education
High School diploma, GED
TECHNICAL SKILLS
General knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
Operates forklift and overhead crane
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS
Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisor, and managers
Ability to work independently with occasional supervision
