The UGG Costing Analyst reports to the Sr. Costing Manager and is responsible for managing product costing for assigned brands. The position works closely with Product Development, Merchandising and Asia Costing teams. The Analyst collaborates the product creation team to analyze seasonal costing and potential saving opportunities.
Your Impact The primary functions of this role include, but are not limited to:
Maintain and analyze costing data on a daily/weekly basis across assigned brands. This includes working with Design, Development, Sourcing and Asia Costing team to evaluate product builds, identify cost reduction through materials, and/or construction, while using product knowledge and financial analysis to effectively achieve costing objectives.
Ensure all concerns and challenges around product costs are addressed throughout the development season. Utilize manufacturing and product knowledge to achieve target FOB. Help to impart this knowledge to cross-functional team members.
Review cost breakdowns and costing teardown notes at key milestones. Provide cost margin scenarios to Product Line Managers. Collaborate with key stakeholders including Asia Costing to resolve product costing challenges and improve overall product margin.
Provide on demand day to day costing support to the Product and Development Teams to meet seasonal margin targets.
Who You Are
Strong IT skills (MS Office) and ability to work with Product Data Management Systems (FLEX or other)
Knowledge of apparel construction and manufacturing preferred
Demonstrated organizational skills, self-motivated, focused on meeting deadlines
General knowledge of financial and pricing models, and ability to think through and problem solve
Effective communicator and team player with ability to work closely with cross functional areas
Ability to work independently under pressure

2-3 years of Apparel & Accessories costing experience
3+ years industry experience
