Job Description:

SUMMARY:
This position provides various operational and administrative support to the Puyallup Tribes cannabis commercial retail business. This position is responsible for assisting Store Management to ensure the day to day management of the operations are met and will perform as a Lead Budtender as needed to ensure proper coverage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Provide day to day assistance with Retail Operations in various functions of a Lead Budtender which may include: performing cash drops for Budtenders, preparing change for Budtenders, cashiering, covering breaks for various employees and assisting with stocking/inventory as needed.Assists with Daily Cash Sales reconciliation by performing cash counts, documents daily drops, verifies bank deposits for Garda pick-ups, maintains bank deposit records, ensures the proper documentation is sent to both the store and Finance while maintaining a cashier log of overages and shortages.Provides assistance to new members of the Management Team in regard to Cash Handling/Reconciliation trainingsProvide administrative support to Retail Team by providing clerical support, systems management and courier service to various locations.May provide support to Inventory Team by assisting in inventory counts/management with filing both electronic and paper files and may assists with receiving shipments and processing manifests as requested.Process and coordinate orders for supplies with PTCE AccountantTimely receives, sorts, and distributes mail; prepares outgoing mail and ensures it is mailedMay work with a variety of highly confidential information and, as a result, handles the information professionally and maintains confidentiality at all times.Ensure the staff and operation complies with applicable regulations and codesEnsure daily operational tasks are completed timely and effectivelyEnsure the cleanliness, presentation, and organization of the facilityMust be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate skills in Excel, Word and Outlook and be able to publish basic sales reports, retail updates, and sales metrics.Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for supervising store staff in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers.

MINIMUM/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 21 years of age

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
2 years of customer service and administrative/clerical experience preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and other staff.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratio and percent and interpret graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in various forms and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
This position is classified as a sensitive Tribal position. Therefore, applicant must submit to and clear a pre-employment criminal background check.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong customer service skills.
Proficiency in multi-tasking.
Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, customers and vendors

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time and visit various work locations.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This is a combined setting of office and retail setting; noise level ranges from quiet to moderate.
