Staff Accountant II

We'll count on you to:
Prepare, review and/or approve journal entries and consolidated statements and/or client account reconciliations. Analyze and maintain the general ledger accounts.
Prepare and analyze account reconciliations. Work with team and global counterparts on resolutions and action plans.
Review internal processes and procedures and provide recommendations to management for improvement. Assists and leads implementation of process changes and projects.
Verify work of and provide guidance to less experienced levels of accountants. Provide functional advice or training to less-experienced accountant positions. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, carrier agreements, SOX procedures, SSAE16 procedures tax regulations, local GAAP and US GAAP and local statutory regulations (as applicable) regarding financial matters.
Prepare ad hoc analyses as assigned.
What you'll need to have:
2-5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance
Working knowledge of reconciliations and journal entries
Experience and affinity for Accounting systems
Keen attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively - written and verbal
Capable of thriving in fast paced dynamic environment
Sound judgement
