Brief Overview of the Role: Euromonitor International supports a wide range of International Development (IDEV) clients by providing them with the critical data and custom research needed to understand a given context and inform impactful strategies and programs. Euromonitor is looking for candidates who are passionate about working with clients to identify research solutions that tackle some of the world's biggest challenges such as food security and gender inequality. The candidate should be a highly self-motivated and intellectual sales professional with a proven historical track record in sales. Experience working in sales with International Development clients is strongly preferred though not required. Desired characteristics include curiosity, tenacity, drive, commercial awareness, and persuasiveness to find the right contact, understand the client's issues, and then match the benefits of Euromonitor's proposed solutions to their needs and objectives. This position will be responsible for the retention and growth of Euromonitor's International Development clients in North America, as well as expanding beyond the current client base of IDEV-related organizations. Ideal applicants must be experienced in engaging in proactive outreach targeted at expanding the user base, responding to inbound queries, providing training, as well as identifying new opportunities with outside organizations through consultative discovery and pitching syndicated, off-the-shelf, and custom solutions as needed. You will often need to involve several stakeholders, both internally across teams and in different locations, and externally across multiple departments of the client organization. This role will be office-based with travel as required to meet clients across your territory as allowed by public health protocols. Key Responsibilities: Generate sales with new and existing International Development organizations across the assigned North American territory Support the drafting of Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and proposals as needed in collaboration with the dedicated proposal writing team Develop strong client relationships: identify key sponsors, influencers, and decision-makers to ensure they understand the benefits and applications of Euromonitor's data systems and consulting services. Provide research support and training on our Passport data platform for clients as required Evaluate and promote Passport usage within the client organization Work with Euromonitor's cross-functional teams to elevate syndicated and custom offerings to the Government space Manage contract renewal and upsell negotiations Identify and act on opportunities for revenue growth using "consultative selling" techniques, including the monitoring of IDEV-related Requests for Proposals (RFPs) tracking sites Identify new syndicated and consulting revenue opportunities through the growth of the base subscription and a better understanding of client organization, strategy, and priorities Ability to generate and manage quality sales opportunities and maintain a healthy pipeline consistently above the required annual target Revenue : Manage the entire sales process of web-based research tools and custom research solutions to new clients (e.g., prospecting, territory management, meeting scheduling, product demonstrations, multi-stakeholder business case development, contract negotiation, etc.). Demonstrate effectiveness by consistently hitting (and exceeding) monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue targets. Forecasting : Use consultative sales skills and effective time management/organizational skills to develop accurate monthly forecasts. Analyze quantitative (e.g., conversion rates, sales cycles, average price points, etc.) and qualitative (e.g., competitive strategies, winning applications, etc.) market feedback to inform adjustments that ensure on, or above, target performance. Development : Take ownership of your performance and personal development by linking it to your goals, identifying obstacles, and developing strategies to overcome them. Increase productivity by actively leveraging Euromonitor's training programs, supportive managers, and diverse set of smart and knowledgeable colleagues.
