Job Description:

$70000 - $90000 / year

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible to develop, establish, and maintain the marketing strategies to meet organizational business objectives. Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization.  This position is also in charge of company’s internal and external communication and to publish the information in different channels. 

The Marketing Specialist is determined and friendly professional with a good understanding of human behavior and a desire to help consumers find exactly the right product or service to suit their needs.   In addition, this position needs to have a positive attitude and a tireless work ethic and a desire for growth to partner with the sales team and other departments to plan and deliver company’s marketing objectives.

The Marketing Specialist is also responsible for reporting and escalating any marketing issues to the President. Typically reports to the President, but may be given direction from the Sales Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing duties:

·         Create and implement sales collateral/pitches for marketing campaigns.

·         In charge of identifying and evaluating additional lead sources including new customers, web resources for all locations.

·         Conduct market research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.

·         Managing email-marketing campaigns.

·         Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.

·         Create and manage custom built surveys and collection process and analyze the data.

·         Create marketing strategy for Boxbee for B2C.

·         Work with IT for any new product rollout to create materials to conduct user experience with training and landing pages. Create Go To Market Strategy for internal and external customers.

·         Video content creation with strong story-telling for training for Sales, Marketing and customer use.

Social Media Communications:

·         Responsible for company’s internal and external communication and information published in different channels i.e. websites including blog posts and landing pages, Google AdWords (PPC) and search engine optimization (SEO).

·         Maintain and manage as first point of contact for Company chat on Website.

·         Monitor and manage online reviews across multiple online consuming platforms for Corodata include Google reviews, Yelp, Glassdoor, Indeed, LinkedIn.

Financial:

·      Responsible for building the annual marketing plan, objectives and budget to be aligned with company’s business strategy to present to management for approval and execution.

Customer Relations:

·     Participate in different marketing events and associations i.e., ARMA, trade shows, committees to enhance Corodata’s active presence in the market.

·     Proactively engages with staff to promote a positive work environment.

·     Maintain excellent customer service with the customers, sales, transportation, and operation teams to establish solid relationships.

             ·      Must be courteous, helpful, and professional to all existing and potential customers.

Training

             ·     Participate and lead Six Sigma projects, as required to improve processes and efficiencies.

             ·     Promote Corodata’s Mission and Vision Statements.

             ·     Continuously promotes compliance with company policies and procedures.

a.    Knowledge in data and information analysis; Knowledge of social media platforms.

b.    Good project management skill, experience running projects with coordination with different cross functions/ departments.

          c.    Strong result-oriented and can-do attitude.

         d.   Ability to tackle challenging business situations and recommend solutions and/or make the judgment call.

         e.   Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.

         f.      Ability to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines.

        g.   Ability to work effectively in a team environment as a positive team player.

        h.   Ability to handle and safeguard sensitive and confidential information required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum Qualifications:

1.    Bachelor degree in Marketing, English, Business Administration, Communications or related fields.

2.    Three to five (3-5) years of experience in content marketing.

3.    Individual contributor for vendor management – experience managing vendors and agencies.

4.    Strong communication with reporting update on projects. Managerial experience.

5.    Excellent writing abilities to create product content.

6.    Proficiency with online content marketing (email and workflow), and social media development strategies.

7.    Proficient in social media branding experience, including experience telling brand stories through different mediums.

8.    Basic understanding of digital marketing strategies, sales funnels and customer journey.

9.    Highly skilled content creator with new ideas and the initiative to create without direct supervision.

10.  Experience working with cross-functional teams, human resources, sales, accounting.

11.  Proficient in MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

12.  Experience in developing and managing a budget.

13.  Proficiency with relevant software applications including CRM (SalesForce), Hubspot, wordpress (CSS).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This list is not all inclusive.

1.    Temp/Weather: Works in either 1) Office environment - for the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment, and 2) Warehouse – may be exposed to cold temperature, and 3) Outside -  may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions and extreme cold.

2.    Noise: Works in office, warehouse or outside environment, with constant or intermittent noise. 

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

1.    This is a full-time, regular position with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week.

2.    Employees might be required to work late evenings or weekends depending on the business needs.
