Job Overview:
The Large Equipment Assistant maintains and organizes the large equipment inventory. You will inspect all large equipment for defects or damage upon arrival and file necessary paperwork as well as prepping and staging the incoming large equipment.
Expectations:
Track large equipment quantities to keep inventory on hand as needed.
Count inventory monthly to assure items are being billed.Send tags to Equipment Category Manager when equipment leaves the warehouse.
Ensure quality of large equipment.
Inspect equipment at time of delivery for damage or defect.Process freight claims immediately if damage or defect is discovered.
Complete necessary paperwork for large equipment projects.
Up to date and accurate Project OEM manuals.Submit warranty paperwork on equipment.
Maintain good customer service with customers, internal staff, and vendors.
Respond to questions or requests within a day when possible.Carry out necessary follow-up.
