Job Description:

Arhaus is looking for a Business Analyst to support the capture, scoping and definition of new process and system capabilities across our applications. The position requires an understanding of the retail business model, the product cross functional team, how technology can be leveraged to support retail business objectives and Scope and Requirements definition.  This individual will work with business partners, developers, and subject matter experts to capture and document functional requirements for new capabilities and implement technology solutions. This position is located in our Corporate Headquarters in Boston Heights, Ohio with opportunity for a hybrid work schedule. 


 Responsibilities:



  • Acts as a liaison between the IT department and the business partners

  • Understand strategic business needs and plans for growth

  • Work with business partners to gather and document business requirements

  • Coordinate across IT personnel to define new solutions and capabilities that will meet approved business requirements

  • Partner with various business units in the organization to facilitate implementation of new or improved processes

  • Work with application development staff to coordinate the creation and management of new functionality

  • Highlight project risks, including the development of contingency plans 

  • Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues as necessary

  • Liaison with any vendors or suppliers in relation to the project

  • Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure proper testing and that test plans are aligned with project requirements

  • Lead regular project meetings

  • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues


Qualifications:



  • 3-5 years’ work experience in retail, supply chain and/or product management.

  • Problem Solving - Defines business solutions with a diverse set of input for problems that may not be clearly defined

  • Cross Functional Coordination - Coordinate input and participation from diverse set of business stakeholders

  • Business Relationships - Grows and strengthens relationships with business partners – committed to excellent customer service

  • Effective communication - communicates effectively and at the right level based on the audience

  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

  • Experience in any of the following is strongly preferred: Precisely (EnterWorks/Winshuttle) Product Information System, Salesforce, Freshservice, EDI, ERP (Storis preferred).
