SUMMARY: Utilizes extensive knowledge of the human capital marketplace and TalentBridge capabilities to develop and execute a business development plan to grow assigned market. Evaluates market trends and gathers competitive information that effects current and future growth. Works collaboratively with key internal leaders as well as external contacts to identify, assess, and secure high potential new business that complements the company's current and emerging capabilities. Works with internal teams to develop and deliver proposals, participates in implementation, as well as cultivates the account to ensure long-term strategic partnerships.


Job Results & Key Activities:

Business Opportunities that Ensure Year-Over-Year Growth

A. Develops a comprehensive business development plan that identifies and prioritizes the most attractive opportunities to leverage current and emerging company capabilities in various markets and industries.

B. Drives acquisition of new clients and increases penetration of existing client base to significantly grow revenue through direct consultative selling efforts with a focus on selling integrated product solutions to senior-level leaders.

C. Participates in developing marketing plans and campaigns with the VP of Business Development (e.g. develop materials, identifies giveaways, provides input into brochures and videos, etc.)

D. Participates in various exhibitions, conferences and conventions.


Proposals and Contracts that Meet Organizational Financial Objectives

A. Responds to requests for proposals.

B. Leads the opportunity assessment, obtains the appropriate needs assessment from the customer, prepares the proposal, and participates in negotiations. Responsible for the final proposal and ensures adequate support and responsiveness is available for each opportunity.


High Value Relationships that Facilitate Achievement of Enterprise Goals

A. Establishes strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and key customers to ensure timely responses to contract inquiries, quick turn around on bids, and smooth contract implementation.

B. Maintains a strong network of industry contacts in multiple functions; continually seeks competitive intelligence. Actively participates in relevant industry meetings and conferences. Creates visibility for TalentBridge and positions the company as a great business partner. Continually seeks new opportunities.

C. Maintains and records all activities to be captured in metrics (MBO plan), to include but not limited to: securing job orders, identifying and meeting with prospects, phone conversation or back + forth engagement via email (BD connects) and client or contact visits.

D. Continually measures success against MBO plan.

E. Monitor and maintain spending within the limits given by management.


Meaningful Contributions to Business Planning & Execution

A. Participates in developing and implementing a business plan that supports the organization's vision and goals; translates the strategic plan to staff to ensure support; and modifies the plan in response to changing internal and external factors.

B. Participates with VP, President and other leadership team members in determining strategies to meet or exceed revenue, profit, and cash flow commitments to the company.

C. Actively contributes to identifying and pursuing opportunities for new value creation.


Client Service Delivery Objectives Achieved

A. Monitors service delivery to ensure the needs of the client are being met.


Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of one year of professional work experience in B2B sales, sales in professional service, sales to HR and team leaders, business development in professional services and client relationship management. Prefer significant experience in telemarketing.
