We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join us as a Header & Construction Equipment Fabrication Business Unit Manager for our North America Construction Equipment team! This person will hold planning responsibilities for the industry, market share, sales, production and inventory, and will work alongside knowledgeable colleagues to continue making a positive impact in the organization.

This person should be located within a commutable distance to our location in Burlington, IA.


Responsibilities:


  • Planning, implementation and maintenance of the manufacturing activities of a specific area.

  • Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs.

  • Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources.

  • Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with internal or external partners where formal authority is not held.

  • Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand.

  • Sets up equipment operation feed, speed and temperature.

  • Follows established procedures and drives continuous improvement in the plant's manufacturing processes, including fabrication, welding, paint and/or assembly.

  • Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.

  • Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

The salary range for this position is $92,863 - $109,250 annually.

(Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree

  • 7 or more years of manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Senior leadership experience.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Continuous improvement experience.
