Assist skilled workers involved in fabricating, welding, assembling, installing, and processing by a variety of functions, such as: sorting and counting, feeding, and unloading parts, sweeping, cleaning, rough painting, and other manual labor tasks as needed
May perform general, manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
Minimum of 6 month of relevant experience.
Experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing environment preferred
Requires the ability to work with a tape measure and determine center point
Able to perform basic math
Ability to layout/align metal materials
Desire and willingness to learn to become a Fitter
Desire to learn how to read and interpret blueprints
Able to pass a tack welding assessment
Able to work effectively in a hot or cold environment while wearing the required PPE
May require working above ground (15 ft or more)
Must be able to climb ladders or stairs to reach objects; comfortable with heights
May require working in narrow or confined work spaces for extended periods of time
May require extensive kneeling, bending, walking and/or standing for long periods of time
