Essential Functions • Operates 2 processing units and grinds multiple products.• Properly directs milled product to the proper storage tank and maintains proper inventory levels in all bulk tanks.
• Maintains dust collectors to operate within mandated parameters which may include manual cleaning of dust collectors, and maintains all assigned tools.
• Operates flash dryers within prescribed settings to prevent dryer flash backs.
• Responsible for process control within the milling circuit to assure proper median size of the finished product.
• Supervises the milling circuit area at all times while the mill hopper feed belts are in operation.
• Generates a written report of significant events that occurred during assigned shift and reports to management any information that could have an impact on the process or quality of the product, and completes and submits all required shift records.
• Drains water traps on the airlines at least two times per shift and performs routine lubrication on equipment as instructed by management.
• Conducts a monthly inspection of the plant as instructed by management.
• Maintains housekeeping above, on and around all mills, scale and scale house, the ramp and outside the scale house and elevator.
• Assists maintenance department in mill rebuilds and other duties as requested by management. Performs other duties assigned by management.
• Loads bulk trucks as needed.
• Stack 50 - 100 lb. bags on pallets as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or educational equivalent. 4 years experience. Detailed knowledge of machines and products manufactured. Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry. Position Summary Under general supervision, specializes in operating one or more types of machine tools to manufacture pieces to specifications. Demonstrated ability to operate one or more machines. Plans and Performs more difficult machine operations which require complicated setups or high degree of accuracy. May train less experienced team members. Handles special projects, as assigned.
