Job Title: Vice President, Global Programs, Partnerships, and Products




Business Context



Interval operates membership exchange programs for vacationers and provides value-added services to its developer clients and homeowners' associations. The exchange network comprises more than 3,200 resorts in over 80 nations. Through offices in 13 countries, Interval offers high-quality products and benefits to resort clients and more than 1.6 million families who are enrolled in various membership programs. Interval provides its members, i.e., vacation owners from around the world, with comprehensive exchange services and a variety of other exciting benefits that offer the value and convenience at home and on the road. Membership is limited to owners at Interval affiliated resorts. And while the properties are not owned or managed by Interval, they all must meet Intervals' criteria for quality.

Generic Position Summary



As a senior member of the professional staff, contributes expertise in a discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Information Resources, Operations Planning & Support, Sales & Marketing) area to support function and/or discipline objectives. Works with a high degree of independence, developing short-term goals for own department(s) and monitoring the flow of work between own department and others in alignment with broader business objectives, selecting and developing effective managers and work teams, and managing own organization through reliable systems and processes. Is a recognized authority in area of specialty, often serving as discipline interface with other areas.



Specific Job Summary



Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, the Vice President, Global Programs, Partnerships, and Products is primarily responsible for generating incremental revenue through development and activation of existing and new programs, products, and partnerships. Leads identification and analysis of areas for exploration to diversify or deepen Interval's product offerings with an emphasis on achieving its long-term vision and strategic priorities. Oversees process of defining, guiding, and evangelizing Interval's long-term product strategy. Creates the vision and articulates short- term and long-term product strategies ensuring alignment with Interval's vision and strategic priorities. Leverages industry and market experience to identify and quantify opportunities, risks, and needs to inform business processes, partnerships, and the product roadmap. Understands market insights and industry trends to adjust to changing circumstances. Leads refinement of Interval's membership programs ensuring competitive advantage, member value and profitability.

Specific Expected Contributions



  • Leads Interval's partnership and product strategy development, management, and activation programs.

  • Leads Interval member program strategy, development, including Loyalty programs, management, and activation.

  • Develops a comprehensive marketing strategy for Interval's Leisure Time Passport (LTP) product.

  • Drives evolution of existing products like LTP, Insignia, Dream Vacation Week (DVW) including responsibility for developing overall product strategies and generating revenue.

  • Develops a partnership strategy and roadmap, supporting both Interval's core and emerging businesses including building strategic relationships with executives at external partner companies in key segments, e.g., travel, entertainment, etc.

  • Manages all third-party partnerships and product relationships.

  • Reviews Interval's member programs to determine the best approach outside of the U.S.

  • Partners with Interval's Business Development on the product strategy for clients and the marketing and technology requirements.

  • Performs other reasonable job duties as requested.





Candidate Profile



Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience and demonstrate strong leadership and relationship skills as follows:


Typically a senior position requiring significant knowledge and experience in one or more disciplines as well as associate and/or organizational management experience. College degree or equivalent work experience required. Advance degree or professional certification may also be required.



Specific Candidate Profile




Education



  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Creative Writing, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.

  • Master's Degree in Marketing or related discipline preferred.



Related Work Experience



  • At least 12 years of progressive experience leading a team responsible for enterprise-wide marketing.

  • At least five years managing team.

  • Experience in Hotel Management, Vacation Ownership, Hospitality preferred.

  • Experience in a matrix structured organization preferred.
