We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join us as a Data Engineer for our North America Construction Equipment team! This person will hold planning responsibilities for the industry, market share, sales, production and inventory, and will work alongside knowledgeable colleagues to continue making a positive impact in the organization.
Responsibilities
Analyze industry trends and anticipate demand changes, taking vital actions to drive planning activities.
Understand the key dynamics of Construction Equipment in North America on all of its sub-areas (Housing, Non-Residential, Rental, etc) and provide sales plans based on these factors.
Consolidate all relevant data into correlation impact analysis and drive decisions based on facts, models and data.
Analyze historic forecast performance in collaboration with sales teams/leadership and leading product lifecycle considerations.
Increase visibility and accountability into key forecast accuracy metrics, identifying sources of error and developing forecast models to mitigate/reduce errors.
Follow industry and sales trends to provide the best plan, backed up by reliable data.
Collaborate with plants production changes.
The salary range for this position is $80,750 - $95,000 annually.
( Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or other technical field
We will consider candidates enrolled in a technical degree program with technical co-op or internship experience.
The preferred candidate will have:
Agricultural, construction, automotive or similar background
Familiarity in writing SQL and Python scripts.
Experience using Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI, etc.
Familiarity with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
Familiarity with technologies such as PySpark or Javascript.
Familiarity with Azure Cloud products and services like Databricks.
Familiarity with noSQL databases (such as CosmosDB, MongoDB).
