Pennoni is currently seeking a Staff Civil Engineer/Project Manager to lead multi-discipline designs for public and private site development projects. This position will primarily manage associate and graduate level engineers in all aspects of projects through conceptual/planning, preliminary design, detailed design, construction documentation, permitting documents and engineering reports.



Job Description and Responsibilities




Pennoni is currently looking for a Staff Civil Engineer/Project Manager with experience consistent with, but not limited to, the following:

• Preparing civil/site engineering designs and plans for jurisdictional approval and permitting
  
  


• Working with designers and other Project Managers to complete projects
  
  


• Completing tasks and assignments as directed by other Project Managers within the time frames and budgets set for the particular project
  
  


• Knowledge of design standards being used by various clients and ability to develop engineering solutions
  
  


• Documenting solutions in an organized manner and then accurately describing them to other Project Managers and the design team
  
  


• Experience with project development, budget constraints, filing of project data, meeting design criteria, assuring that work has been completed and reviewed by competent personnel, the design work meets the client's requirements, and has been through a QA/QC process prior to being delivered to the client
  
  


• Attending meetings with clients and providing updates on project status
  
  


• Having project experience with State and Federal regulatory agencies and respective permitting requirements related to stormwater management
  
  


• Serve as a mentor for less experienced staff
  
  

Job Requirements





Required Attributes:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar
  
  


• Engineer Intern (EI) Certification
  
  


• 4 to 7 years of related experience
  
  


• Strong project management abilities and at least 1 year of project management experience
  
  

Preferred Attributes:

• Professional Engineer (PE) License
  
  


• Experience in water resources engineering and stormwater management design and permitting
  
  


• Desire and ability to manage and lead less experienced staff
  
  


• Focused on building client relationships
  
  


• Strong verbal and written communication skills
